Agricultural and Stockbreeding Company, formed by 6 farms (Santa Rita, San Luis, San Andrés, San Marco, El Cóndor, La Pepita) situated in the south of the Province of Buenos Aires ("Pampa Humeda").
The Company initiated its activities in 1994 when it acquired 1.100 hectares in Coronel Suarez. Through different later acquisitions, the Company increased its total surface. Nowadays, it has a total of 14.500 hectares.
The acquisitions have allowed it to operate in a more rational way, using each farm according to its best natural conditions and, at the same time, implementing economy of scale to reduce the costs and increase the productivity of the crops and also of the cattle.
At the same time, the Company built / developed / formed a machinery park which has allowed it to carry out the agricultural activities without requiring external contractors. Therefore, the Company has acquired more efficiency and quality in its work.
The cereal production of Clovis Argentina S.A. includes wheat, soybean, sunflower and maize / corn, while the intensive ("feed lot") and extensive cattle production involves diverse thousand of Angus heads per year.
